Seeking Candidates for 2 Open Council Seats

During the November 4th election, the Village only had 2 candidates for 4 seats on LaGrange Village Council. The terms were to begin on January 1, 2026. In accordance with statutory requirements, the Village Council has 30 days from January 2nd to appoint replacements to fill these vacancies. If Village Council does not select replacements by January 31st, the Mayor will choose the replacements.
The Village is currently accepting resumes from interested residents who wish to be considered for these positions.

Deadline: Resumes must be received by end of the business day on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
All applicants will be scheduled for an interview with members of Village Council during the first 2 weeks of 2026.
